These terms apply to removal, man-and-van, packing, collection and delivery work provided by Papa Professional Removals UK Ltd.

Quotations and charges

Our work is normally charged at the hourly rate agreed with the customer. Charges may depend on the vehicle, number of workers, travelling time, distance, access, parking, waiting time and additional services requested.

Any estimated duration is provided as guidance and is not a guaranteed completion time. A fixed price applies only when confirmed by us in writing.

Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information about the addresses, items, stairs, lifts, parking restrictions and other access conditions. Customers are responsible for obtaining suitable parking permission and ensuring that items are ready for collection.

Additional charges may apply if the information supplied is incomplete or circumstances cause extra work or waiting time.

Cancellations

Any cancellation or change should be communicated as early as possible. A cancellation charge may apply when a confirmed booking is cancelled at short notice or after a vehicle and team have been dispatched.

Items we cannot transport

We may refuse dangerous, illegal, hazardous, explosive or inadequately packed items. Customers must tell us in advance about unusually heavy, fragile or valuable items.

Damage and insurance

We hold goods-in-transit and public liability insurance, subject to the applicable policy conditions and exclusions. Any loss or damage must be reported promptly with photographs and supporting information.

We are not responsible for loss caused by inadequate packing performed by the customer, undisclosed defects, normal wear, unavoidable delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Website and social media

Information on our website and social-media accounts is general information and may be updated. Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when agreed by both parties.
