Terms & Conditions of Services

1. Booking & Minimum Charges

  • All bookings are subject to a 2-hour minimum charge.
  • Time starts when our team arrives at the first location and ends when the final item is unloaded and positioned.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 24+ hours notice: No charge.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the estimated booking total (to cover staff wages and resources).

3. Congestion, ULEZ & Parking

  • Clients are responsible for all Congestion Charges and ULEZ fees incurred during the move.
  • Clients must provide or pay for valid parking. Any fines resulting from lack of a permit or illegal parking instructions will be added to the final invoice.

4. Insurance & Liability

  • Papas Professional Removals maintains Goods in Transit insurance (£[Amount]) and Public Liability insurance.
  • Our insurance does not cover items packed by the client unless inspected by our team.
  • Mechanical or electrical breakdowns are not covered unless physical damage is visible.
  • Any damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the move.

5. Staff Safety & Heavy Items

  • Our team reserves the right to refuse to move items deemed unsafe or posing a health and safety risk.
  • For items exceeding 80kg (e.g., pianos, large fridges, marble tables), clients must notify us in advance to ensure the correct equipment and team are provided.
